Malfunction!
People's messages are not getting through to PostSecretVoice, and I'm not sure why. Audioblogger isn't responding to help requests, so I'm shopping for another phone-to-blog service; suggestions are welcome. I hope to have the site up and running soon!

What is PostSecretVoice?

It is an extension of the PostSecret project, which displays postcards bearing anonymous secrets. PostSecretVoice takes the same idea to audio. Users leave an anonymous phone message that becomes an audio file and is delivered to listeners through RSS.

How To Post Your Secret:

To post your anonymous secret,

  1. Call 661.716.2564
  2. When you are prompted for your "primary telephone number," enter 212.555.2368; your PIN is 1234.
  3. Leave your secret and press # when you're finished, then press 1 to post it, or listen for more options.

Speak clearly, and be creative. There will be a 24-hour delay before your secret appears so that PostSecretVoice can screen out malicious or abusive calls.

How To Listen:

Here's a link to the RSS feed. [The feed URL has been updated!] If you use an RSS reader (Bloglines is a free online example), copy and paste the link to that software and you'll be able to hear new secrets as they are posted. If you listen to podcasts ("what-casts?"), use that same feed to have new secrets automatically delivered to your computer or portable media player.
